Welcome to southern Italy. A private driver meets you at Naples airport and takes you along the stunning coastal road to Sorrento, perched on cliffs above the Bay of Naples with Vesuvius looming across the water. Check into your 4-star property — many rooms have balconies overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The rest of the day is yours. Walk Sorrento’s pedestrianised center, lined with lemon groves and ceramic shops. Find a terrace restaurant for your first plate of fresh seafood and a glass of Falanghina, the local white wine. The Amalfi Coast has a way of announcing itself before you’ve even unpacked.

Day Two

Sorrento & the Coastal Towns

Sorrento & Amalfi Drive

A full day to explore the Amalfi Coast by private driver. Wind along the famous cliff road, stopping in the pastel-colored village of Positano — a vertical cascade of houses tumbling toward a black sand beach. Wander the boutiques, swim, and lunch on the waterfront.

Continue to the town of Amalfi itself, with its Arab-Norman cathedral and lively piazza. Your specialist can arrange a limoncello tasting at a family-run lemon grove, or a guided walk through the Valley of the Mills. Return to Sorrento as the sun drops behind Capri on the horizon.

Ravello & Hilltop Gardens

Ravello & Amalfi Coast

Today belongs to Ravello, the Amalfi Coast’s most refined hilltop town. Visit Villa Rufolo — its terraced gardens inspired Wagner — and Villa Cimbrone, whose Terrace of Infinity offers one of the most photographed panoramas in all of Italy. The views from 350 metres above the sea are genuinely staggering.

Afternoon, join a hands-on cooking class at a local family’s home, learning to make fresh pasta, gnocchi sorrentina, and a traditional lemon dessert. Dinner is what you’ve prepared, served on a terrace with views of the coastline. This is the kind of day that defines the Amalfi Coast.

Day Four

Crossing to Capri

Sorrento to Capri

This morning, a private boat takes you across the Bay of Naples to the island of Capri. The crossing takes about 30 minutes, and the first sight of the island — limestone cliffs rising from impossibly blue water — sets the tone for everything that follows.

Check into your hotel in Capri town or Anacapri and spend the afternoon exploring the island’s two centers. Capri town has the designer boutiques and the famous Piazzetta; Anacapri is quieter, more local, and home to Villa San Michele’s extraordinary gardens. This evening, aperitivo on a terrace as the Faraglioni rocks turn gold.

Day Five

Capri by Sea

Capri

The definitive Capri experience: a full day on the water. Your private boat circles the island, stopping at the Blue Grotto (when conditions allow), the Green Grotto, the Faraglioni sea stacks, and hidden swimming coves only accessible by boat. Lunch is on board — fresh seafood, local wine, the engine off, the sea beneath you.

Late afternoon, the boat returns to the Marina Grande. Ride the funicular back up to Capri town for shopping, people-watching, or the chairlift to Monte Solaro — the island’s highest point, with views stretching to Vesuvius and the entire Amalfi Coast. Dinner at a restaurant tucked into the clifftop, the sea far below.

Day Six

Beach Day & Leisure

Capri or Amalfi Coast

A deliberately unscheduled day. Sleep in. Swim at one of Capri’s beach clubs or take the boat back to the coast for a day on Positano’s beach. Your specialist can arrange a last-minute kayak excursion, a private yoga session, or a visit to the archaeological ruins at Pompeii if you’re craving history.

This is the day the Amalfi Coast rewards those who linger. The pace slows, the light changes, and the details — the scent of lemon on the breeze, the sound of boats in the harbor, the warmth of late-afternoon stone — become the memory. Day Seven

Departure

Naples Airport

A final Italian breakfast on the terrace, then your private driver takes you back to Naples for your departure flight. The drive north retraces the coastal road one last time — Vesuvius in the distance, the cliffs falling away behind you.
