Terms of Service

Last updated April 27, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Juniper Tours website and the booking and travel services we provide. By using our website or booking a trip with us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

About Juniper Tours

Juniper Tours is a luxury custom European travel agency based in Middleton, Massachusetts. We design private, fully customized itineraries to destinations across Europe. We are accredited by IATAN.

Use of Our Website

You may use our website to learn about our services, browse destinations, request information, and book consultations. You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with the experience of other visitors.

All content on our website — text, images, photography, design, and code — is the property of Juniper Tours or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without our written permission.

Bookings & Payments

When you book a trip with Juniper Tours, your booking is governed by a separate Customer Agreement that we send you at the time of booking. That agreement covers payment terms, deposits, balance due dates, included services, and other trip-specific details.

A trip is considered confirmed only when:

  • You have signed the Customer Agreement
  • Your deposit has been received
  • We have sent you written confirmation

Final payment is due according to the schedule in your Customer Agreement, typically 60–90 days before departure. Trips are designed and priced individually, so terms may vary.

Cancellations & Changes

Cancellation and change policies are set out in your Customer Agreement and depend on the suppliers involved (hotels, airlines, ground operators, etc.). Some bookings are non-refundable. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to protect your investment.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in our trip pricing. We strongly recommend that every traveler purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy that covers trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, evacuation, and lost or delayed baggage. We are happy to recommend providers.

Travel Documents & Eligibility

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid travel documents — including passports, visas, and any required health documentation — for every country in your itinerary. Passports should typically have at least six months of validity remaining beyond your travel dates. We can advise, but we cannot guarantee entry into any country.

Our Role

Juniper Tours acts as a travel designer and booking agent. We arrange travel services on your behalf with third-party suppliers. We are not the operator of those services and are not responsible for acts or omissions of suppliers, including airlines, hotels, ground transportation, guides, and activity providers.

While we work only with vetted, reputable partners, we cannot be held liable for delays, cancellations, accidents, injuries, illness, lost or damaged property, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

Force Majeure

Neither party will be liable for failure to perform any obligation due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, weather, natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, strikes, or supplier failure.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Juniper Tours’ total liability for any claim arising from your use of our website or services is limited to the amount you paid to Juniper Tours for the trip giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Privacy

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Massachusetts.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
