What is the best time of year to visit Greece?


May, June, and September are ideal — warm enough for swimming, manageable crowds, and the best prices. July and August are peak season: Santorini and Mykonos become very crowded and expensive. June and September offer the best balance of weather, atmosphere, and island availability. Athens is accessible year-round.

How long should a trip to Greece be?


Most Juniper Greece itineraries run 10–14 days. Ten days works well for Athens and two or three islands. Twelve to fourteen days allows you to add Crete or the mainland properly. Santorini deserves three nights minimum — a single night is a mistake. Your specialist builds the right pacing for every island on the route.
